Women for Women International in the Congo
Women for Women International operates sponsorship programs in 8 countries recovering from conflict. We can sponsor women in the Congo to support their efforts to rebuild their lives. For $27/ month, and a $30 initiation fee. Sponsored women receive financial support for their basic needs and participate in Women for Women International support groups and training. Participation in the program helps them monetarily and in building a support network in their own community.

Your $27 a month donation is distributed in the following manner:
- $10 goes directly to participant to use at her discretion.
- $5 is saved as "seed funding" upon graduation for investment in her small business.
- $7 provides training in rights awareness, leadership, vocational skills.
- $5 administrative support of the program.

- $45 will teach a woman basic reading skills and how to write her name.
