I'm 35 and widowed. My husband died during Mutebusi was in Bukavu after being shot. He left me with a pregnancy and 3 children. After his death, I gave birth to a 4th child. My father and mother are old now and my grandparents have died. I live in a family that helps me to care for my children (school fees and food). I don't have a home of my own. Mutebusi war was in June, 2004.
I'm happy with the monthly sponsorship fund I'm receiving.
Last April 25th, 2006, I lost my brother who was helping me.
I'm very happy to get your letter and to get you as a friend. You are helping me through Women for Women International DRC here in Bukavu.
From the time I joined Women for Women's Programme, I'm receiving an assistance of three kinds.
the training sessions twice per month and
sponsorship funds as well as vocational skillsAll these are of great help to me.
I'm learning many things I didn't know before and sponsorship funds are allowing me to join income-generating activity. So far, we haven't started yet with vocational skills.May God bless you as you are supporting us.
