hospital in Bukavu, DRC. Zania was abducted and held
for a year by rebel soldiers in the forests, where she
was raped daily. Zania was carrying her son who was
then only a few months old when she was abducted. Her son spent the first year of his life in a forest camp watching watching his mother suffer at the hands of soldiers.
